Improper use
•
The appliance must not be operated with the hairdryer dome 2 or filter
cover with air filter b.
•
The appliance must not be covered by towels or similar items.
•
Do not treat the face or other parts of the body.
•
Do not treat animals.
•
The appliance may not be used to dry objects or heat food.
Pedestal type
•
The appliance may only be mounted on the pedestal ST5.
•
The appliance may only be mounted on the wall arm n Acrobat 2004 type
WA04/75 or WA04/95.
•
The wall arm n may only be mounted on a wall bracket o type WL04 that
has been installed as described in the currently valid installation instructions.
2.2 Safety components
•
An overheat protection switch switches off the appliance heating if the
maximum temperature is exceeded. See "Section 6, Errors and possible
rectification, page 45''.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent restting of the thermal
cutout (safety switch for protection against excessive temperature), this
appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a
timer, or connected to a curcuit that regularly switched on and off by the
utility.
Safety off
•
After a maximum operating time of 60 minutes, the appliance turns off
automatically. See "Section 6, Errors and possible rectification, page 45''.
