Description of device and functions
1.2 Description of device
Versions and power supply
The appliance can be installed as a pedestal (type M50) and wall-mounted version
(type M50W). The operation and functioning of these versions are identical and
are described on the basis of the pedestal version.
The pedestal version and the wall bracket o of the wall-mounted version are
each equipped with a power plug e and mains cable d for the power supply
(see "Section 4.1" page 39).
Mobility
The appliance is mounted on a height-adjustable pedestal f, g with castors or
on a pivoting, height-adjustable wall arm n (see"Section 3.1" page 38/"Section
3.2" page 38). The appliance is positioned using the side recessed handles 8.
Hairdryer dome
The head piece 1 contains a spacious and ergonomically shaped hairdryer dome
2 to accommodate curlers with a diameter of up to 70mm.
The temple area of the hairdryer dome 2 has a large cut-out area, so your
customer's vision and freedom of movement is not diminished.
The head piece 1 and the hairdryer dome 2 are made of a see-through
material, which gives the customer a sense of freedom and openness during the
treatment.
The hairdryer dome 2 can be removed for cleaning (see "Section 5.2" page 43).
Air filter under the filter cover
There is a filter cover with air filter b on the bottom of the appliance. The filter
cover b can be removed for checking and replacing the air filter (see "Section
5.3" page 44).
Long-hair drying
In order to satisfactorily dry even long hair with curlers of a diameter of up to
70mm from the forehead to the neck, the appliance has additional air outlets in
the neck area, which can be activated / deactivated as required via a shutter 7.
Control panel
The control button h (turn and press) for selecting the time, temperature and
airflow setting (see "Section 4.5" page 41) is on the control panel 9.
1.3 Description of functions
Heating air
The air is sucked into the appliance via a filter cover with air filter b on the
bottom of the appliance, heated and and blown through the airflow grille 4 into
the hairdryer dome 2.
Temperature sensor
The temperature sensor 5 beside the airflow grille 4 measures the
temperature and a microcontroller regulates the temperature according to the set
temperature level m.
Operating principle
The heated air is evenly distributed through air outlets in the hairdryer dome 2,
so the hair is dried gently.
Shutter (for air outlets in the neck area)
The shutter 7 optimises the drying effect for long hair with curlers of a diameter
of up to 70mm, by blowing additional drying air into the neck area. That way, this
critical area can also be satisfactorily dried.
Settings
The variable settings for time, temperature and airflow make individual treatment
possible.
