MontAGe - installing the fan
•
Be sure to hang the fan in a place where the distance between the fan blades and the floor will be at
least 2.30m.

Mount the outlet box to the ceiling or used existing box. In order to ensure proper support, use two
wood screws, to secure the outlet box to a joist or beam. If the location you have chosen doesn't
have a suitable support beam, install a 2"X4" brace between ceiling joists to support fan.
1. In the packaging the mounting plate is already
assembled to the canopy by 4 screws. Loosen
2 screws halfway and two screws completely
and remove the mounting plate of the canopy.
2. Disconnect the yellow-green wire from the
canopy.
3. Slide the rod into the canopy. Be sure the ball
joint fits exactly in the recess. (See figure 2)
4. Remove de cotter pin out of the safety pin.
5. Lead the wires from the motor through the rod.
Insert the rod in the mounting ring and secure
with the safety pin. Do not forget to put the
cotter pin back into place so that the safety pin
is locked. (See figure 3)
6. Now turn the screws into the mounting ring.
