operAtion - before use for the first time
Remove the fan from the packaging.
operAtion - Assembling the fan
1. Unscrew the white spinner from the motor-housing shaft (by turning it clockwise) and remove the
spinner.
2. Unscrew the white locking ring from the motor-housing shaft (by turning it anticlockwise) and remove
the ring from the shaft.
3. Fit the rear of the fan housing (5) onto the motor-housing (7), making sure that the openings are
aligned precisely with the lugs on the motor housing and that the grip is at the top.
4. Slide the locking ring (4) onto the shaft, and screw it tight (clockwise).
5. Slide the fan blades (3) onto the shaft, making sure that the notches are aligned precisely with the two
keys on the shaft.
6. Fit the spinner (2) onto the shaft and tighten it (anticlockwise) whilst preventing the fan blades from
moving.
7. The rim has five clamps. Carefully fit the rim around the rear half of the fan housing, making sure that
the housing falls into the upper clamp of the rim,
so that you can connect the two halfs of the fan housing
with the nut and bolt (14). Use a crosshead screwdriver.
8. Close the other clamps.
9. Select an appropriate location and fix the mounting
bracket (11)onto a strong wall (or locate a stud behind
plaster boards) with three wall plugs (13) and
screws (12) supplied. (see figure 2)
10. Mount the wall fan on the mounting hook and plug in
the unit.
operAtion - Ventilate
1. Connect the plug into an electrical socket and switch on at the wall.
2. You can control your wall fan either with the remote controller or with control buttons on the control
panel.
3. Press the "ON/SPEED" button. At first start-up the fan will operate at low speed.
4. Press the same button to choose between Low, Medium and High speed.
5. Press "SWING" button to switch on the oscillation mode.
