• S witch off the appliance and remove the plug from the wall socket in the
event of a malfunction during use, and before cleaning the appliance or
storing it after use.
• R emove the plug from the wall socket immediately should the appliance fall
in water. Do not use the appliance any more.
• N ever immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other
liquid.

operAtion - before use for the first time
Remove the fan from the packaging.
operAtion - Assembling the fan
1. U nscrew the spinner from the motor-housing shaft (by turning it clockwise) and remove the spinner.
2. U nscrew the locking ring from the motor-housing shaft (by turning it anticlockwise) and remove the ring
from the shaft.
3. F it the rear of the fan housing (5) onto the motor-housing (7), making sure that the openings are aligned
precisely with the lugs on the motor housing and that the grip is at the top.
4. S lide the locking ring (4) onto the shaft, and screw it tight (clockwise).
5. S lide the fan blades (3) onto the shaft, making sure that the notches are aligned precisely with the two
keys on the shaft.
6. F it the spinner (2) onto the shaft and tighten it (anticlockwise) whilst preventing the fan blades from
moving.
