instructions given in the present manual. BWT Was-
sertechnik GmbH is not liable for any damage or
consequential loss caused by incorrect installation
or improper use or incorrect operation.
Disposal
Used Woda-Pure 120/energy filters can be dispo-
sed of in residual waste/residential waste.
Specific safety instructions
Only cold water of potable quality may be used as
feed water and it must meet the following quality
criteria:
Total iron and manganese < 0.2 mg/l

Free chlorine < 0.5 mg/l
-
Temperature 4 – 30°C
-
Maximum static pressure: 8 bar
-
Minimum flow pressure: 1 bar

Under no circumstances may feed water with unk-
nown microbiological quality be used without ade-
quate disinfection.
In the event of shut-downs for a longer period (week-
end, holidays ...), close the water tap on the feed of
the Woda-Pure 120/Energy filter.
If you are not using water from the BWT Wasser-
technik GmbH filter for a period of more than
2-3 days, we recommend rinsing the filter with water
before it is used again. Avoid shutting down the filter
over longer periods. After a downtime of 4 weeks
and longer, the filter should be replaced by an origi-
nal from BWT Wassertechnik GmbH.
Rinse amount in litres:
The stainless steel gauze hose should be replaced
after 5 years (service life).

5. Prerequisites for installation –
important instructions
Local installation regulations (e.g.: DIN 1988), ge-
neral guidelines, general hygiene conditions and
technical data must be followed at all times!
In some countries, the installation of this filter may
require "disconnection from the system".
When installing a new or replacement filter, check
all parts to check that nothing is missing and that
they have not been damaged in transport.
A shut-off valve must be installed in front of the inlet
hose of the filter.
When fitting accessories (hoses, connection-sets,
etc.), note the fitting dimensions, bending radii and
dimensions.
When setting up the filter, choose a place that al-
lows easy connection to the water mains.
An approved backflow protection (DVGW type-
tested backflow preventer as per DIN 3269-1 /DIN
3269-2) is built into the filter system.
Avoid mechanical damage to the filter.
Faulty parts must be replaced.
The installation location must be frost-proof and pro-
tected from direct exposure to sunlight.
Do not install near heat sources or open flames.
Chemicals, solvents and vapours must not come in
contact with the filter.
If the above conditions are not met, the technical
function cannot be guaranteed.
Installation date
3 litres
Prior to the instal-
lation of the filter,
write the date of the
new installation and
also the replacement date (max. + 6 months) on the
label on the filter.
Set the date ring on the
filter (current month +
max. 6 months).
