gENERAL DIvINg TIPS:
• On the maiden voyage, take things
slowly and familiarise yourself with the
handling.
• Do not sail too far away, the model
should never be out of sight.
• Please be aware that radio equipment,
other remote controls operating in the
27 MHz range or transmitters can
interfere significantly with the model. To
ensure that the connection between the
remote control and submarine is not
lost, do not dive any deeper than 50 cm.
• Do not expose the model to extreme
heat, cold or dirt.
• When transporting the model and
remote control, secure them from damage
and from sliding around.
• It must be ensured that the submarine
cannot injure anyone in consideration of
potential malfunctions and defects.
• Always move the controls slowly and
with a gentle touch.
THE SUITABLE DIvINg ENvIRONMENT:
The location in which the submarine is operated should fulfil
the following criteria:
• Do not sail your model in conservation areas, nature reserves or water protection
areas. Find out from your local authorities where you are allowed to sail your model.
• Never sail the model in salt water.
• Never sail the model in adverse weather conditions such as rain, storms, strong
winds or heavy swell, strong currents, etc.
• This submarine is suitable for use in clean water, i.e. with no floating matter
(e.g. algae, leaves, branches, etc.), in areas with good visibility at ground level,
and in water free of plants in which the vessel could get entangled.
16
• Always maintain visual contact with the
submarine and do not look at the
remote control!
• Never operate the model in flowing
water (e.g. rivers) as it may drift away
due to its low speed and poor visibility in
cloudy water.
• Never endanger yourself or others when
salvaging the model.
• Pay special attention to the watertight-
ness of the model. A model submarine
will sink if water gets into it. Before
each use, check the model for damage
and check whether any water could enter
it. During sailing, the switch cover must
always be closed watertight on the hull!
• After use, allow the model to dry
thoroughly.
