ensure that the button is back in its initial posi-
tion and does not lock the spindle (25) move-
ment. If necessary rotate the spindle (25) or the
set of pads (27) by hand to release the button
(29) so it can return in its initial position.
13. Remove the special spanner (30).
14. Mount the selected sandpaper disc taking
care to situate it exactly in the centre of the set
of pads (27). Coaxiality between the openings
of the sandpaper and the distance pad (42) is a
prerequisite for proper dust extraction and there-
fore - high quality of the processed surface. Fa-
miliarise yourself with section „Additional advice
and instructions for operation with the sanding
set" and use the centring elements (32) when
mounting the sandpaper.
15. Press the sandpaper to the distance pad
(42) to ensure maximum cohesion between their
hook-and-loop surfaces.
16. Turn the machine with the sandpaper fac-
ing downwards.
17. Plug in the power tool.
18. Slide the ON/OFF switch slider (33) for-
ward to start the machine.
19. Let the machine operate at no load for ap-
proximately one minute not allowing the sanding
head (3) to contact any surface.
20. At the event of increased vibrations or
other symptoms not typical for operation, stop
the machine immediately and search for the
reason. If you can not detect the reason your-
self - contact the nearest authorised SPARKY
service centre. Operating with a faulty machine
may cause an accident!
21. If no trouble is detected then you can start
operation.
REPLACING THE SANDPAPER
1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged.
2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-
cess to the operating tool. We recommend fixing
the machine in stationary position. Thus it would
be possible to use both hands for convenient
and safe assembly.
3. Remove the clogged sandpaper.
4. Follow steps 14 - 21 described in section
„Mounting the sandpaper.

case the button (29) still locks the spindle (25)
rotate the spindle by hand until the button has
been released and returned in its initial posi-
tion.
5. Remove the set of pads (27) and flange
(26).
6. Clean the accessories for sandpaper
sanding and store them for future use.
ADDITIONAL ADVICE AND INSTRUC-
TIONS fOR OPERATION WITH THE
SANDING SET
The set of pads (27) is delivered assembled.
The pads are concentric and their ventilation
apertures coincide. This feature guarantees the
lack of disbalance and lack of introduced vibra-
tions in the machine.
If for any reason you have separated the flexible
backing pad (41) from the distance pad (42) you
have to perform the described below procedure
in order to assemble them together.
1. Remove the flexible backing pad (41) from
the machine following the instructions in section
"Removing the accessories for sandpaper sand-
ing".
2. Use the centring elements (32) supplied
with the machine. Place them at 90° in 4 aper-
tures situated on the outermost circle with aper-
tures of the flexible pad (41) as shown og Fig. 8.
3. Place the distance pad (42) on the flexible
pad (41) so that the centring elements (32) enter
the corresponding apertures of the distance pad
(42).
4. Press the face of the distance pad (42)
onto the flexible pad (41) to ensure maximum
cohesion between their hook-and-loop surfac-
es.
5. Remove the centring elements (32).
6. Assemble the set of pads (27) following
the steps described in section "Mounting the
sandpaper".
SANDING WITH ABRASIVE NET
Operation with abrasive net (38) is entirely ana-
logical to operating with sandpaper.
