AIR FILTER

Fuel/air mixture is required for running the engine. Air taken
to the cylinder is the air from the atmosphere, and it shall be
filtered as dust is present in ambient air.
Two air filters are used. These are inner and outer filters.
Inner and outer filters shall be replaced individually in
periodical maintenance operations as per the operating
hours. (see Periodical maintenance table)
Air filter shall be inspected by the user in daily maintenances,
and it shall be cleaned if it is dirty and dusty.
You shall pay more attention to the cleanliness of the filter
when it is used in a dusty environment and for a long period;
it shall be cleaned frequently if a compressor is available in
the tractor; and a spare air filter shall be kept available for
models without compressor.
Filter shall be cleaned by applying pressurized air from the
inside of the filter to outside. Filter casing shall be cleaned
by applying pressurized air.
