Clutch lock on the tractor with a discharged battery or with
no battery installed prevents starting by pushing or pulling.
Check the battery fluid level when the tractor is parked on
a level surface, engine is stopped, battery is stabilized and
cold.
Top up the level by adding distilled water if the battery fluid
level is under the level indicated (it shall be 1 cm over the
plates). Remove the screwed plugs on the battery sections
and perform the required operation to top up the lost fluid.
Warning:
Do not start the tractor with completely discharged
battery or with no battery installed by pushing or pulling. Do
not attempt this method even if the battery has charge. Do
not overflow fluid around the battery to prevent corrosion or
similar damages. Battery fluid (electrolyte) is diluted sulphuric
acid. Do not allow contact with skin, eyes or clothes as it may
cause serious burns. Keep the battery away from open flames
and sparks. Always pay attention to ventilation while charging
or using in confined places. We recommended you to have
the seasonal maintenances of your battery performed by
authorized services. Remove battery negative (-) terminal or
turn off the main switch when you need to when the tractor
shall not be used for a long time. You shall operate the tractor
for 15 minutes and ensure that battery is charged every week
in winter.
