ENGINE
Perkins engines are used in Fruit Garden series tractors.
Do not intervene the engine while it is operating. As a driver,
you shall clean the air filtre frequently, and check the engine
oil level and antifreeze condition before starting to operate
with the tractor.
Oil Level Check
Park the tractor on a level surface to check the engine oil
level. Wait for 15 minutes to allow that oil settles in the oil
pan if the tractor is stopped recently. Pull the dipstick out
and place it again after wiping with a clean cloth.
Check the oil level by pulling the dipstick out again. Suitable
oil level is the upper mark that indicates the maximum level.
Adding oil shall not be required until the oil level is lowered to
the lower mark that indicates the minimum level. If the level
is in the minimum mark, add oil with the required amount
using oil specified in the recommendation list.
