DRAW BAR ASSEMBLY
Correct movement and steering of the tractor depends on
the correct adjustment of the draw bar assembly.
Drawing capacity is increased when the equipment to be
drawn is connected higher, but it also increase the possibility
of shaking the tractor.
Draw bar assembly is generally divided to two assemblies
1- Draw (Z) Bar
2- Draw Hook
Height adjustment suitable for the operation may be
performed by removing the pins on the draw bar and moving
it up or down. However, it is recommended that the trailer
connection is used at a position where the draw bar is below.
And, for the 4WD tractors, draw bar shall be at lower position
and approximately level with the trailer chassis.
Whether the draw plate moves left or right can be adjusted
by removing and installing the pins. Trailers with double
axles may be drawn when the pins are removed.
For equipments that shall be both drawn by by connecting
to the draw bar and transferred power by connecting to the
PTO, draw bar length may be adjusted as per the length of
the joint that would provide connection by the pin on draw

bar. Adjust the draw bar downwards to ensure that the
connections to PTO are correct.
Trailers with single or double axle may be drawn with draw
hook. Connection height may be adjusted as above or under
the PTO.
