STEERING
As a part of the steering system, it controls the front axle
hydraulically. It may be available on the tractors as fixed or
adjustable.
Proper position is obtained by the seat adjustment in models
with fixed steering.
In models with adjustable steering, proper position may
also be adjusted in up and down and forward and reverse
directions in addition to the seat position. Functions may
vary as per model.
It is adjusted to the desired position in up and down and
forward and reverse directions by loosening the adjustment
levers on the steering column and then the adjusted levers
are tightened and locked again.
In some models, it is possible to adjust the steering height
only. Steering column may be adjusted to the desired
position upwards and downwards by loosening the rim nut
on the steering wheel.
If the adjustment levers are left in a position that would
disturb the driver, they shall be brought to the desired
position by pulling it back without loosening the levers and
left in this position.
