COMPREHENSIVE HEAD PROTECTION
When you use other protective equipment together with your
helmet, it is important that all the components included in the
helmet system fit together without compromising the special
comfort and convenience requirements applied to each individual
component in the system.
It is vital that there is sufficient space for the hearing protector
and that it can be conveniently adjusted to fit the ears. In other
words, the helmet itself should not extend too far down or there
should be cutouts to accomodate the hearing protectors. The
combination of helmet and visor must also function properly as
regards the distance to the face, focus of vision, sealing etc.
Your 3M helmet can be supplemented with other 3M equipment
such as hearing protectors, visors and communication systems.
Only approved hearing protectors which meet the requirements
of EN 352-3 may be used with this helmet.
