Scope of delivery:

Preparations
- Dismantle the seat and tank.
- Drain the coolant (see the owner's manual).
- Dismantle the right-hand radiator.
Assembly
- Mount the fan (1) on the fan bracket (5) using the screws (6).
Ensure that the cable (10) is positioned as shown in the figure (A).
- Mount the fan bracket and fan on the right-hand radiator using the blind
rivets (7) in the provided holes (11) (Figure B).
- Mount the right-hand radiator.
- Remove the hose system and thermostat (Figure C).
- Cut off 50mm of hose (12) (Figure C).
- Cut off 30 mm from the remaining hose (13) (Figure C).
- Mount the hose piece (13) on the connecting piece (8) using the hose clamp
(9) as shown in the figure.
- Screw the thermoswitch (3) with the aluminum seal ring (4) into the con-
necting piece (20Nm).
- Then mount the connecting piece with the thermoswitch and the moun-
ted hose piece (13) onto the hose piece (12) using the second hose clamp
(Figure C)
- Mount the assembled hose system back into the vehicle.
- Connect the fan wiring harness to the vacant connector of the main wiring
harness (Figure D).
NOTE:
Ensure that the cables are routed properly and without kinks. Secure the
wiring harness using cable binders.
- Connect the fan wiring harness to the thermoswitch (3) and fan.
- Fully mount the rubber sleeve (14).
Final steps
- Fill the cooling system (see the owner's manual).
- Check that the fan is functioning properly.
- Mount the seat and tank.
