    Bitte vor dem Benutzen des Topcase folgende Hinweise unbedingt durchlesen! Bei angebauten Topcase kann es, insbesondere in beladenem Zustand, wegen größerer Seitenwindempfindlichkeit zu verändertem Fahrverhal- ten, aber auch zu verändertem Kurven- und Bremsverhalten kommen. Vorsicht bei starken Winden! Aufgrund des geänderten Fahrverhaltens langsam an die Richtgeschwin- digkeit von 130 km/h herantasten.

    Be sure to read the following information before you use your topcase. A mounted topcase, especially when loaded, can affect vehicle handling due to strong crosswind sensitivity as well as its cornering ability and bra- king performance. Drive carefully in strong winds. Because of the difference in the vehicle handling, slowly approach the recommended maximum speed of 130 kph.

    OPENING THE CASE Lift the handle. Then lift the central tab as shown in the diagram. Once you have done this, the ejector will lift the lid of the case just enough to release it from the interior catches. Finally, take hold of the overhanging part of the case lid and lift the lid with your hand, as shown in the diagram.
