Unsatisfactory wash results
Symptom
Dishes are not clean.
Unsatisfactory drying, the dishes
are not dry.

The lamp for the glasses
programme is flashing rapidly.

• In the event of an overflow, switch off the main water tap and contact an authorised service centre.
• Water in the bottom of the appliance must be removed before starting the appliance again.

Possible cause
The wash basket is not properly
loaded.
Unsuitable programme.
Too little detergent.
An object is blocking the rinse
arm.
The filter unit is blocked, or
has not been properly fitted.
The holes in the rinse arm are
blocked.

The dishes were removed too

The dishes are not suitable for

Significance
The water supply is inadequate.
The set temperature has not
been reached.

Action

Select a more intensive programme (see programme table).
Use more detergent, or use another detergent.
Stop the appliance and move the object so that the rinse arm can
rotate freely.
Clean the filter unit and fit it properly. Clean the rinse arm
according to the instructions.

Add rinse-aid and/or increase the dosing.
Allow the panel to stand ajar until the dishes have cooled (about
15 minutes). Unload the bottom basket first to avoid water from
the dishes in the top basket dripping down.
Short wash programmes have a lower temperature and less
cleaning capacity. Select a longer programme with a higher
temperature.
The water does not run off as easily from dishes that are not
suitable for dishwashers.
Possible cause
The tap is not open, the inlet is blocked, or the water pressure is
too low.
Fault on the heater.
Leakage in some part of the appliance.
