INSTALLATION
POSITIONING
The appliance should be installed near to water, a drain and
a power point. Place the appliance in the required place, with
the back to wall and with the sides to adjacent cabinets or a
walls. Route water and drain hoses from the kitchen sink to the
appliance, the water and drain hoses of which can run to the left
or right to simplify installation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage
on the type plate. Connect the appliance to a separate electrical
circuit with a 10 A fuse, overvoltage protection and residual
current device.
NOTE:
The appliance must only be connected to a correctly
earthed mains outlet.
The plumbing and electrical installation should be carried
out by qualified personnel.
Allow an authorised electrician to install an earthed power
point if the plug does not fit in the power point.
WARNING!
Disconnect the power supply before installation – risk of
electric shock.
Do not use extension cords or adapters together with the
appliance.
Never remove or bypass the earthed connection on the
appliance.
Never modify the power cord or plug.
CONNECTION OF COLD WATER
Firmly connect the water hose to a threaded 3/4" cold water
connection. If the water pipe is new, or has not been used for
some time, allow the water to run until it is clear and free from
impurities. Otherwise there is a risk of blocking the water inlet
and/or damaging the appliance.

NOTE:
If the supplied hose does not fit, look for a suitable
adapter from the nearest plumbing store.
Close the tap after each use.
CONNECTION OF DRAIN HOSE
Insert the drain hose in a drain pipe with a diameter of at least
4 cm (alt. A), or route the drain hose to the sink (alt. B). Make
sure the hose is not bent or clenched. The free end of the drain
hose should be placed no higher than 60 cm over the base of the
dishwasher and must not go under water – risk of backflow.
FIG.

Emptying hoses
If the sink is placed more than 1000 mm over the floor the
surplus water in the hoses cannot be emptied directly in the sink.
In which case the hoses must be emptied in a suitable container,
placed lower than the sink.
Water outlet
Connect the drain hose. The drain hose must be correctly
connected, otherwise there is a risk of leakage. Route the drain
hose so that it is not bent or clenched.
Hose extension
An extension hose must be of the same type as the supplied drain
hose. The total length of the drain hose must not exceed 4 metres
to ensure the best dishwashing results.
