START THE DISHWASHER
1.
Load the wash basket (see section on loading)
2.
Add detergent (see section on filling salt, detergent and
rinse-aid).
3.
Plug in the plug. The appliance must only be connected to a
power point with 230V ~ 50 Hz and 10 A fuse.
4.
Check that the water tap is open and that the water pressure
is correct.
5.
Select the wash programme with the programme button.
The programme indicator switches each time it is pressed as
follows:
EKO -> Glasses -> 90 min -> Quick -> Intensive -> Normal.
6.
When a programme has been selected the corresponding
lamp goes on. Press the start/stop button. The appliance
starts.
NOTE:
If the start/stop is pressed while dishwashing is in progress the
programme indicator lamp stops flashing and an audio prompt
is given every minute until the start/stop button is pressed
again to start the appliance.
CHANGING PROGRAMMES
It is possible to interrupt the programme in use and switch to any
another programme at any time during the wash cycle, but if the
detergent compartment has been opened new detergent must be
filled before the new programme is started.
When the panel is closed, press the start/stop button to stop the
appliance. Keep the programme button pressed for at least
3 seconds to put the appliance in standby mode and switch to the
required programme according to the instructions to start a wash
programme
The programme indicator lamps show the status of the appliance.
One programme indicator lamp on: standby or stop
mode.
One programme indicator lamp flashing: the appliance
is running.
NOTE:
If the panel is opened when dishwashing is in progress the
appliance will stop. The appliance starts automatically 10
seconds after the panel is closed.
If the appliance has a function to resume an interrupted
programme the wash programme in progress will be
completed when the power supply is reconnected after a
power failure.
LOADING WHILE DISHWASHING IS IN PROGRESS
The panel can be opened and more dishes loaded in before the
detergent compartment is opened.
1.
Press the start/stop button.
2.
Open the panel a little so that the dishwashing is
interrupted.
3.
Wait until the rinse arm has stopped and open the panel
completely.
4.
Load extra dishes.
5.
Close the panel.
6.
Press the start/stop button. The appliance starts after
approx. 10 seconds.
AFTER DISHWASHING
When the wash cycle is complete the buzzer sounds 8 times.
Switch off the appliance with the power switch, close the water
tap, and open the panel. Allow the dishes to cool for about
15 minutes before unloading – dishes are sensitive to knocks
when hot. The dishes also dry better if they are allowed to cool
in the dishwasher. Leave the panel ajar, so that the dishes dry
and cool quicker. The inside of the dishwasher is wet – this is
completely normal.
WARNING!
Open the panel carefully – risk of scalding from steam or hot
water.
MAINTENANCE
FILTER SYSTEM
The filter system prevents large scraps of food and other items
getting into the pump. The filter system consists of: (1) Coarse
filter, (2) flat main filter and (3) fine filter.
FIG.
12
Main filter
This collects up food and impurities and disperses it with a jet
from the rinse arm, so that it can pass out in the drain.
Fine filter
This collects food and impurities in the sump, so that it does not
go back to the dishes again.
Coarse filter
This collects larger particles, such as pieces of bone or glass,
which could block the drain. Carefully press the tab on the top of
the filter, lift out and clean if necessary.
Filter unit
The filter removes scraps of food and impurities from the water,
so that it can be reused during the wash cycle. Clean the filter
unit regularly for best dishwashing results. We recommend that
the filter is rinsed under running water after every dishwashing,
to remove scraps of food and impurities. Take out the filter unit in
the following steps:
