6.2.2. Using the Bluetooth intercom

In order to use two Bluetooth Kits in Intercom mode, the two Bluetooth e-boxes have to be affiliated first, as described above.
- First turn on the Passenger's e-box and then the Pilot's. When it is turned on, the Pilot's helmet searches for the
Passenger's helmet. After finding it, the intercom mode is automatically established.
Note: If you turn on the Pilot's helmet first or in any other situation where the Bluetooth connection is lost (the distance
between the two helmets exceeds 10 meters or the connection is voluntarily cut off), simply press key " " of the Pilot's
e-box and keep it pressed for about 2 seconds (until you hear the acoustic signal), to activate the search.
Only the Pilot's e-box can switch on the intercom mode, but both e-boxes can switch it off.

7. USING THE SYSTEM WITH OTHER AUDIO DEVICES

The N-Com system is preset for listening to different audio devices, which can be connected by means of the Multimedia
wire (sold separately).
You can listen to an MP3, an FM radio, or connect to a satellite navigation system, etc. by using the 3.5 mm output that
these devices are generally equipped with for earphone purposes.
Caution:
In compliance with Traffic Regulations, listening to other devices must not interfere with driving the vehicle, which
has absolute priority. All maneuvers on electronic devices and on the N-Com system must be carried out with the vehicle
stopped, in conformity with applicable Traffic regulations.
Caution:
Setting the volume at a very high level may distract you from riding the vehicle and cause dangerous situations or in
any case limit your ability to hear background noises. Adjust the volume to a suitable level prior to using the system while riding.

7.1. Connection with Multimedia Wire

- connector 3 (3 poles – with red band) in the audio device input (fig. 9).
- connector 4 (4 poles) in the helmet input (fig. 9).
FIG. 9
Note: The sound coming from the source connected to the helmet is heard by both the pilot and the passenger. In the event
that the passenger does not want to listen, you can disconnect him.
