6.2. Intercom via Bluetooth

- Fit the pilot's helmet with the Basic Kit and the Bluetooth Kit.
- Fit the passenger's helmet with the Basic Kit and the Bluetooth Kit.
In order for two Bluetooth Kits to communicate with each other, they must be affiliated, in other words they must be
"introduced" to each other.

6.2.1. Affiliating two Bluetooth Kits

1. Keep the two helmets close to each other (within 0-3 meters). Then verify that both Bluetooth e-boxes are turned off.
2. Press the "on" key and keep it pressed. The e-box will switch on after the first 3 seconds. Continue pressing the key for
another 3 seconds, until the LEDs flash rapidly and you hear a high buzz from the e-box, indicating the affiliation mode.
3. Follow the same procedure to put the second helmet in affiliation mode also.
4. When both helmets are in affiliation mode (all lights are flashing) briefly press the "on" key on the Pilot's helmet. If this is
not done the affiliation will not have a successful outcome.
5. After a few seconds the helmets recognize each other, a buzz signals proper affiliation and the intercom mode is switched on.
6. Turn off both systems to store the affiliation data in the memory.
In the event that this procedure is not successful, turn off both helmets and start again from step 1).
Note: The presence of other operating Bluetooth devices may slow down or make the affiliation procedures difficult.
Note: If prior to the affiliation of the Bluetooth Kit system you had already affiliated a cell phone, make sure this affiliation is
still working. Otherwise repeat the affiliation to the cell phone.
All affiliations are stored in memory even after the helmets are switched off, and are maintained until they are switched back
on. Consequently, the affiliation procedure has to be repeated only in case different systems are used from the ones already
affiliated.
Caution: Do not carry out the affiliation procedure while riding.
