Note: Some cell phones need the Bluetooth connection to the helmet to be turned on before making a phone call, which
can be done by pressing key "on". Other cell phones transfer the call directly to the helmet, without having to press any key.
Please refer to your cell phone instructions manual for additional information.
Caution:
Do not make any phone calls while riding.

5.6. Vocal calls and advanced functions

Some cell phones allow vocal calls or other functions using vocal commands. To make a vocal call:
- Disconnect the passenger (if connected) by pressing the "on" key and keeping it pressed for about 3 seconds.
- Briefly press the "on" key to switch on the vocal mode of the cell phone. Then carry out the vocal call or other vocal
commands as you would normally with your cell phone.
Note: If the cell phone allows it, it is better to record the vocal commands directly from the helmet. This will facilitate
recognition of the vocal command.
Note: In case of any malfunction, the system can be "reset". Simply remove the e-box from the helmet and then put it back
in place.

6. N-COM BLUETOOTH AS INTERCOM

With the N-com Bluetooth Kit you can connect two helmets to each other in intercom mode. There are two types of intercom
connection:
1. Intercom via cable, using the special N-Com line Intercom Wire (See par 11.7 "N-com Bluetooth").
2. Intercom via Bluetooth, where both helmets are equipped with a Bluetooth Kit (See par 11.7 "N-com intercom Bluetooth").

6.1. Intercom via cable

- In order to use the N-Com Bluetooth Kit as an intercom system via cable, you need to purchase the Intercom Wire to
connect the two helmets (sold separately).
- Fit the pilot's helmet
- Fit the passenger's helmet
in the special housing under the protection cover. Please refer to the Basic Kit instructions for proper installation).
- Connect the pilot's helmet
procedure (fig. 8):
• connector 1 in the small jack (diameter 2.5 mm) of the pilot's helmet
• connector 2 in the large jack (diameter 3.5 mm) of the passenger's helmet
Note: If you connect the Intercom Wire cable when the system is on, it may automatically turn off to protect itself from
possible short circuits. The system is not damaged. In case this happens, turn the system back on after properly connecting
the cable.
Warning:
If the Intercom Wire is inverted, the two helmets will not be able to communicate with each other. There is no risk
of damaging the system if this happens.
