LONWorks Configuration

LON Objects Descriptions
LonWorks is a communications protocol developed by Echelon
Corporation which facilitates peer-to-peer communications in a control
network. Information on LonWorks can be found at www.echelon.com.
Information on LonMark can be found at www.lonmark.org.
The IAQPoint can be directly integrated within a LonWorks network using
an optional, integrated circuit board. All gas readings, faults and other
sensor data are transmitted via the LonWorks protocol. (If your IAQPoint
does not have the Temperature and Relative Humidity sensor option,
objects 1040 and 1050 will not be present.)
Please refer to our Website's IAQPoint section
(www.honeywellanalytics.com) to obtain the XIF (External Interface
File) file. This is an ASCII file used by network configuration tools
to detail the resources of the IAQPoint LON device.
