Cleaning

After every drum emptying, medium residues must be removed from the follower plate.
> Remove the power supply and the compressed-air supply before cleaning the drum
emptying system.
> Remove the pump of the drum.
Attention - material can escape.
> Take off the pump centring plate.
> Remove the follower plate of the drum.
> Clean the follower plate. To do so, use e.g. a scraper. Do not damage the sealing lips.
> In case of successive drum emptying scrape identical medium residues into the drum
to be emptied next respectively, dispose medium residues in an environmentally
sound manner.
> Clean the hose. To do so, disassemble the hose of the manifold, discharge side of the
pump.
Attention - material can escape.
> Observe the corresponding operating instructions for the cleaning of the pump!

Repair

Attention!
> Defective parts must always be replaced.
> Only use original spare parts

Replacement process seals on follower plate

> Loosen the union nuts (1)
and remove retaining ring.
> Replace process seals.
> Place the retaining ring on
process seal and align it.
Screw the retaining ring to
follower plate.

Disposal

Empty the drum emptying system, the pump, hose and fittings.
Collect environmentally harmful substances and pumped material in suitable containers
for disposal in an environmentally responsible manner.
Dispose of scrap, non-repairable or non-reusable parts in an environmentally responsible
manner.
