Fire alarm: Audio and visual signal to indicate a possible fire.

False alarm: Fire alarm provoked by causes other than fire.
Fault: Fault that may inhibit detection.

Fault warning: Audio and visual signal to indicate a fault.

EMC: Electromagnetic compatibility.

Silence buzzer: Button that allows you to silence the panel's internal buzzer.

System fault: Critical fault that disables the system.
Regulations: Regulation concerning fire detection units.

Pilot: Warning light(led).
Alarm button: Device that allows the fire alarm to be activated manually.

Emergency plan: Established procedures, which should be complied with when a fire
alarm situation occurs.

Start-up: Procedure with which the installer ensures that the system satisfies the
established requirements.
Reset: Button that restarts the unit.

End of line resistor: Resistor with a value of 4K7 that establishes the end of each line
of detectors and enables detection of faults in the installation.

Zone: Physical sub-division of the spaces protected by the detection system.
Generally each line of detectors is associated with an zone.
