Adjustable Pressure Switch Settings
The adjustable pressure switch, which determines when the heater switches from stand‐by mode to full heat
mode, is preset at 75 psi (5.2 bar), which is optimum for Propane gas. If you are operating with another LPG
gas mix, you may want to adjust the pressure to another value. The alternate values are shown on the switch
from 100% Butane, on the lower end of the scale, approximately 30 psi (2 bar)), to 150 psi (10 bar), on the
upper end of the scale. The adjustment can be made by loosening the lock ring, turning the switch to the
desired pressure setting and re‐tightening the lock ring. Always check to see that only 1 to 1.5 threads are
visible outside the lock ring as shown in the above pictures. If the switch is 360 degrees (1 full turn) open it will
not go into stand‐by mode. If the switch is 360 degrees closed it will not allow the heater to reach full heat
mode.
