11. Inspect the tank heater regulator to ensure it is not damaged or the vent is not blocked. Make sure it
is mounted above the vapor space of the tank.
12. After connecting to the battery, check the voltage inside the preheater cable connection
box to ensure it is 11 Volts DC or greater.
13. Voltage of the Peltier device, measured between terminal 3 and 5, should be 90 mV or
higher to start the heater pilot and when the heater is warm and operating this should
measure 300‐400 mV (visit troubleshooting information in Section 5).
14. Manifold gas pressure should be according to the table in Figure 8. See Figure 3 for gas port location.
15. The temperature of the heater face should be 750 – 822 °F (399 – 439 °C). If the heater surface does not
reach full temperature after an hour of operation 750 °F (399 °C) and tank pressure is less than 55 psi
(3.8 bar), contact the factory for instructions (see the following page).
