FUEL MIXTURE (Fig. 9-10-11)
Use a 4% (25:1) oil/gasoline mixture.
With PROSINT Efco oil use a 2% (50:1) mixtu-
re.
With eXtrasint Efco oil use a 1% (100:1) mixtu-
re.
WARNING - 2-stroke engines have high
specific horsepower and we therefore re-
commend the use of well-known, super
gasoline, without lead and an octane rating
of no less than 90. When preparing the mixtu-
re, only use oil for two stroke engines. Shake
the fuel canister before filling. Refill (Fig. 12)
when the engine is switched off and far away
from naked flames. Before unscrewing the fuel
tank cap, position the chain saw on a flat, solid
surface to prevent fuel spills. Only prepare the
quantity of mixture for each job, do not leave the
mixture in the fuel tank or in a fuel canister for
prolonged periods.
CHAIN LUBRICATING OIL
Correct chain lubrication during the cutting pha-
se reduces wear to a minimum between the
chain and bar thus prolonging life. Always use a
good quality oil (Fig. 13).
WARNING - Never use waste oil.
Always use biodegradable lubrificant
(eco-lube Efco p.n. 1108014) which is
specific for bar and chain and also respect-
ful towards nature and chainsaw's parts.
STARTING THE ENGINE
Fill the carburetor by pushing primer bulb (A,
Fig. 14B). Put the ON/OFF switch (A, Fig. 14A)
in the I position. Pull the choke lever (E, Fig. 16),
the decompression valve opens. It will automati-
cally close at the first start. We suggest to press

te push button before every start. Pull the choke
lever (D, Fig. 14B). Place the chain saw on the
ground in a stable position. Check that the chain
is free to turn and will not come into contact with
any foreign objects. Hold the front handle firmly
with the left hand and put your right foot onto the
base of the rear handle (Fig. 15). Pull the starter
cord a few times until the first kick over of the
engine is heard. Push the choke lever in (D, Fig.
16) to its' original position. Pull the starter cord
to start the engine. Once the engine is going re-
lease the chain brake and wait for a few se-
conds. Then accelerate with the throttle (B) to
fire the half throttle-blocking device.
WARNING - Once the engine is warmed
up do not use the choke to start up
again.
WARNING - Use the semi-acceleration
device only in the phase of starting the
engine.
BREAKING-IN THE ENGINE
Engine break-in period is approx. 20 hours.
During this period DO NOT use the chain saw at
full-speed and avoid prolonged high-speed ope-
ration.

MEZCLA COMBUSTIBLE (Fig. 9-10-11)
Usar combustible (mezcla aceite/gasolina) al
4% (25:1).
Con aceite PROSINT Efco usar mezcla al 2%
(50:1).
Con aceite eXtrasint Efco usar mezcla al 1%
(100:1).
ATENCION - Los motores de 2 tiempos
tienen una potencia específica elevada,
por lo tanto, se aconseja el uso de gaso-
linas super sin plomo de marca conocida y
con un número de octanos que no sea infe-
rior a 90. En la preparación de la mezcla usar
solamente aceite específico para motores de
2 tiempos. Agitar el tanque de la mezcla antes
de proceder al llenado. Realizar el llenado de
combustible (Fig. 12) siempre con el motor apa-
gado y lejos de llamas. Antes de desenrroscar
los tapones de los depósitos colocar la moto-
sierra sobre una superficie plana y sólida, de
forma que no pueda darse la vuelta. Preparar
solamente la cantidad de mezcla necesaria pa-
ra el uso, no es conveniente dejarla en el depó-
sito o en el tanque durante mucho tiempo.
ACEITE LUBRICANTE PARA CADENA
La correcta lubricación de la cadena durante las
distintas fases de corte reduce al mínimo el de-
sgaste entre la cadena y la barra asegurando,
por lo tanto, su mayor duración. Utilice siempre
aceite de buena calidad (Fig. 13).
ATENCION - Está prohibido usar aceite
recuperado. Utilizar siempre un lubri-
cante biodegradable específico (eco-
lube Efco p.n. 1108014) para barras y cade-
nas que tenga en cuenta el tipo y la vida útil
de los componentes de la motosierra.

PUESTA EN MARCHA
Cebar el carburador pulsando la burbuja tran-
sparente (A) (Fig. 14B). Llevar el interuptor (C,
Fig. 14A) a la posición "I". Pulsamdo el botón
(E, Fig. 16), la válvula de descompresión se
abre. Al ponerla en marcha se cerrará de forma
automática. Se aconseja pulsar siempre el
botón antes de ponerla en marcha. Tirar del ce-
bador (D, Fig. 14B). Apoyar la motosierra sobre
el terreno en posición estable. Comprobar que
la cadena gire sin dificultad y no choque con-
tra cuerpos extraños. Sujetar firmemente con
la mano izquierda la empuñadura anterior y co-
locar el pie derecho sobre la base de la em-
puñadura posterior (Fig. 15). Tirar de la cuerda
de arranque varias veces, hasta conseguir el
primer estallido. Volver a llevar la palanca del
starter (D, Fig.16) a su posición original. Poner
en marcha tirando de la cuerda de arranque.
Una vez puesto en marcha el motor, desactivar
el freno de cadena y esperar algunos segun-
dos antes de accionar la palanca del acelerador
(B) para desbloquear el dispositivo de semi-
aceleración automática.
ATENCION - Cuando el motor está ca-
liente no se debe usar el cebador para
la puesta en marcha.
ATENCION - Emplear el dispositivo de
semi aceleración exclusivamente en la
fase de puesta en marcha del motor.
RODAJE DEL MOTOR
El periodo de rodaje es de aproximadamente de
20 horas.
Durante este periodo NO DEBE usar la moto-
sierra a toda marcha y evite un uso prolongado
en marcha rápida.
