• Failure to position the logs in accordance with these diagrams or failure to use only logs specifi cally approved
with this appliance may result in property damage or personal injury.
• Logs must be placed in their exact location in the appliance. Do not modify the proper log positions, since
appliance may not function properly and delayed ignition may occur.
• The logs are fragile and should be handled with care.
PHAZER TM logs and glowing embers exclusive to Napoleon, provide a unique and realistic glowing effect that is dif-
ferent in every installation. Take the time to carefully position the glowing embers for a maximum glowing effect. Log
colours may vary. During the initial use of the appliance, the colours will become more uniform as colour pigments
burn in during the heat activated curing process. Blocked burner ports can cause an incorrect fl ame pattern.
Place rear log #1 on the locating

is centered over the pilot housing.
NATURAL GAS ONLY: There
should not be a gap between the
PHAZERAMIC™ burner and the
bottom of log #1.
C. Place the notch of log #3 (FIG. 1) onto
the top right feature/indentation of log
#1. Ensure the stopper of log #3 rests
on the right side of log #2.

E. Place the notch of log #5 (FIG. 2) onto
the top left feature/indentation of log
#1. Ensure the stopper of log #5 rests
on the left side of log #2.

B. Position the 2 notches in the bottom
of log #2 (illustrated above by X) over
the locators on the PHAZERAMIC
burner.
D. Place the front notch of log #4
(illustrated above by X) onto the 4th
grate post, resting it along the edge
of the burner against the brick panel.
Ensure to leave a 1/2" gap between
log #2 and log #4 to prevent ignition
issues. Do not cover any ports.
