FOR YOUR SAFETY - This product must be installed
and serviced by a professional service technician,
qualified in pool heater installation.
Some jurisdictions require that installers be licensed.
Check with your local building authority about contractor
licensing requirements. Improper installation and/or
operation could create carbon monoxide gas and flue
gases which could cause serious injury or death.
Improper installation and/or operation will void the
warranty.
CODES AND STANDARDS: Installation must be in
accordance with all local codes and/or the latest edition
of the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA54 and
the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA70 (U.S.), or
standards CSA B149 - INSTALLATION CODES FOR GAS-
BURNING APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT and/or local
codes and Standard CSA C22.1 - Canadian Electrical
Code, Part 1 (Canada). The heater, when installed, must
be electrically grounded and bonded in accordance with
local codes, or, in absence of local codes, with the
Canadian Electrical Code or the National Electrical Code,
ANSI/NFPA70, as applicable.
