Attention!
Never inject lubricants into the safety lock: The lock must not be greased internally.
The safety lock is maintenance-free. Where appropriate, the sliding surface of the lock latch should be thinly greased
with silicone grease.
In intervals of not more than one month, a fire door must be inspected for safe functionality. Note in particular:
· Inspect and operate all functions of the lock so you can ensure that all parts of the locking mechanism (lock and
closing plate) function safely.
· All parts of the closing mechanism must be clean in order to avoid clogging and blocking.
· A fire protection door must not be altered retrospectively, there must not be any additional locking devices fitted
in.
· Inspect that all components of the system continue to comply with the list of approved components originally
supplied with the system.
· Verify that all control element are securely assembled.
· Measure the actuation forces for releasing the escape door locking mechanism with a force measuring meter and
record the results.
Inspect whether the actuation forces for to releasing the escape door locking mechanism have not changed signifi-
cantly since the initial installation.

Disposal
Disposal according to EPD (Environmental Product Declaration).
Packing materials must be delivered for reuse.
The lock is fully recyclable as scrap metal. Place the lock in metal scrap for disposal.
The applicable environmental protection rules must be observed.
