Exchanging the panic side
The panic side of a lock with B-function ("Fonction B (fonction de commutation)", page 57) must be set prior to
assembly. The panic side of the lock must be adjusted in such a way that the door can be opened in the escape
direction (normally from the inside to the outside) via the door opener, regardless of the lock status.
Warning!
Danger to life and risk of injury due to incorrectly set panic side: Check after the lock assembly for whether the
locked door can be opened in the direction of escape.

Press and hold down the lock latch (Fig. 8).

Press the control latch.

Release the lock latch when the control
latch is pressed.
The latch will be barred.
Adjust panic side
The fixing screws are always located on the panic side.

Loosen the fixing screws.

Insert the fixing screw on the opposite side again
2,5 mm
(torque 2.5 Nm).
The panic function is now set for the opposite lock
side.
Check the panic function with the help of an opener
and a square pin (9 mm) prior to the installation of
the lock.
