for their compliance with DIN EN 179 and DIN EN1125. There must not be any alterations implemented which are not
described in these instructions.
Unsuitable doors reduce personal and burglary protection: Only approved and technically flawless doors are suit-
able for assembly of the safety lock. The door must be inspected prior to the assembly of the safety locks to ensure that
it is correctly hinged and does not indicate any shrinkage. The door must be approved for the use of the safety lock. The
door controls must not interfere with each other.
The safety lock is not approved for use on swing doors.

must not impair the function of the safety lock.
Shattering glass doors can cause serious injuries: Glass doors or glass parts on doors must comprise defined safety
glass from Forster.
Inappropriate fixing devices reduce personal and burglary protection: The appropriate fixing devices must be used,
depending on the installation location and materials of the door.

bar (panic handle bar) is 900 mm to 1100 mm above the finished floor surface. If the majority of residents in the build-

Every prescribed locking counterparts or panels should be installed to ensure compliance with the requirements of
this European Standard.
