7.6. TIME FLUSHING automatic cycle
Description of the system
The automatic TIME FLUSHING cycle allows an automatic fl ushing cycle to
be carried out to renew the water present in the water lines of the instruments
found on the instrument board and assistant's board.
Municipal water, treated water (if the M.W.B. system is present) or distilled
water (if the S.S.S. system is present) can be used to fl ush the ducts. The
cycle takes 2 minutes to complete.
ATTENTION!
A fl ushing cycle should be performed before starting work and in
between patients.
Setting the TIME FLUSHING cycle.
• If the S.S.S. system is present. Check the level of distilled water present
in the tank, topping up if necessary.
NOTE: the TIME FLUSHING cycle will not start if the reserve level
is present in the S.S.S. system tank.
• Use the doctor's console or button AS found on the assistant's board to
go to the "TIME FLUSHING cycle setup" menu and set the time the cycle
lasts (see paragraph 5.1.1.3.2.).
• Place the instruments to be treated in the container provided in the
hydrogroup
ATTENTION!
Use the adapter [ f ] provided for the syringe. The heater should be
turned off.
The micromotor should be put in without the handpiece.
The turbine and scaler should be put in without any burrs or tips.
• Make sure the spray cocks [ d ], found at the bottom of the board, are opened.
Performing the TIME FLUSHING cycle.
• Press the multifunction button (
graph 5.1.1.3.2.) or AS button found on the assistant's board to start the
disinfecting cycle.
• Once the TIME FLUSHING cycle has been completed ( "Cycle fi nished:
put instruments back in place" appears on the display) put the withdrawn
instruments back into place to restore work conditions.
Interrupting the TIME FLUSHING cycle.
Press multifunction button STOP to interrupt TIME FLUSHING cycle at any
time and go back to the initial cycle setup menu.
Error messages shown on the console display.
If the system detects a malfunction, a fault message appears on the display
screen (see paragraph 10.).
7.7. Opening/closing the cover at the side of the hydrogroup
Opening the cover:
• Grasp the handle [ h ] and pull it up to unlock the cover [ a ] at the side
of the hydrogroup.
• Turn the cover outwards to open it.
Closing the cover:
• Press the handle [ h ] to block the cover until a click is heard.
