5.1.1.3.2. Setting the Time Flushing cycle (TF)
NOTE: this menu can be accessed only if the Time Flushing
system is present.
This setting is used for all the operators.
Perform the following steps from the DISINFECTING SYSTEM SETTINGS
menu:
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for " TF cycle
setting " .
• Press multifunction button OK to enter the selected submenu.
NOTE: this submenu can also be accessed by briefl y pressing
button AS found on the assistant's board.
NOTE: this submenu cannot be accessed if the reserve level is
present in the S.S.S. system tank (see paragraph 7.2.). A message will
appear on the console display and a beep will be given to signal that the
submenu cannot be accessed.
• Set the washing time with the INCREASE and/or DECREASE buttons.
NOTE: the time may range from at least 1 minute to at most 5
minutes, with 1 minute intervals.
Use the fast selection buttons to automatically set the following values:
- MAX button: 5 minutes
- MED button: 3 minutes
- MIN button: 1 minutes
NOTE: it is advisable not to set a time longer than 2 minutes with
the S.S.S. system tank.
• Withdraw the instruments to be treated (the corresponding icon will appear
on the display):
S1: syringe on instrument board.
A: instrument in position A
B: instrument in position B
C: instrument in position C
D: instrument in position D
S2: syringe on assistant's board.
F: instrument on assistant's board.
NOTE: the Time Flushing cycle will not start if at least one instru-
ment is not selected.
• Press multifunction button (
paragraph 7.6.).
NOTE: the Time Flushing cycle can also be started by briefl y
pressing button AS found on the assistant's board.
NOTE: while the disinfecting cycle is being set, hold down button
AS found on the assistant's board for at least 2 seconds to immediately
quit the submenu.
