Connection and control elements
(5) Level indicator of channel:
Display of the corresponding input level.
(6) Channel fader:
Use the channel fader to adjust the level of a channel.
(7) MIC connection:
The DJ microphone can be connected to this input. The microphone input is equipped with a special socket. You
can connect a 6.3 mm jack plug (unsymmetrical) or an XLR plug (symmetrical).
(8) MIC TRIM control:
Use the MIC TRIM control to set the input sensitivity of the MIC channel. The channel's signal is pre-amplified and
added to the master signal (MASTER). The MIC TRIM control should always be set to "MIN" if the input is not
used.
(9) MIC sound control
Use these controls to change the sound characteristics of the MIC channel.
HIGH = treble control
MID = mids control
LOW = bass control
Turn the control all the way to the left for maximum attenuation.
Turn the control all the way to the right for maximum gain.
In centre position, the control does not influence the signal (neutral position).
(10) MIC ON switch:
Use this switch to turn the MIC channel on or off. When the channel is on, the MIC ON LED lights up.
(11) TALK control:
Use this control for maximum attenuation of all other channels for the TALKOVER function. In the OFF position,
the TALKOVER function is deactivated. Turn the control clockwise to activate the function. The volume of all
channels except for the microphone channel is reduced when the microphone is used. DJ announcements will be
louder than the music signal.
(12) MODE STEREO/SPLIT switch:
SPLIT:
If the switch is set to SPLIT, the CUE signal is fed to the left headphone and the MASTER signal is fed to the right
headphone.
STEREO:
If the switch is set to STEREO, the CUE signal and the MASTER signal are fed to both headphones. Turn the MIX
control (13) to set the CUE/MASTER ratio for the headphones.
