Use and function

Inserting the batteries

The battery compartment is located on the upper
side of the casing.
To open, push the catch over to the left.
Insert two 1.5 volt micro-cells (LR03) in the
battery compartment as illustrated on the sleeve.
Only use the specified batteries. Never mix old
and new batteries or different makes. Then close
the battery compartment again.
Empty batteries must not be disposed of as
household waste (see notes on environmental
notes, page 34).
The batteries require replacing when the symbol
is illuminated in the display.
Important information on replacing batteries:
The time and date settings remain in memory if the
time taken to replace the batteries does not
exceed 30 seconds. In order to avoid possible
problems of consistency on transmission of the
readings, please check that the time and date are
correctly set each time the batteries have been
replaced.
