Have the tamping rammer inspected at least once a year.

Consult the engine instruction manual for engine care and
maintenance steps.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the
tool. An improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the
user and/or others.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Check the oil level.
Check and tighten nuts on the base plate
assembly.
Check and tighten all other hardware
connectors.
Check that the engine is secure.
Clean the engine's air-cooling fin.
Replace the vibrator oil.

LUBRICATION

Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Use grease to
lubricate the tool. Other lubricants may not be suitable and
could damage the tool or cause a malfunction during use.
RAM SYSTEM LUBRICATION
The guide cylinder contains oil to bathe the piston ram
during operation. View the oil level through the oil gauge
assembly (Fig. 2-G).
SAE 10W-30 is recommended under general conditions.
Choose the oil that best suits the local temperature.
Replace the oil after the first 50 hours of operation and every
200 to 300 hours after that.
