• Activate the tool control valve lever to lift the bead
and start the rim extraction (Figure 5.1.2.1-6).
Note:
During this phase the turntable must not
be rotated.
Activate the clockwise rotation and at the
same time press on the side of the tyre to
keep the bead in the channel, until the bead
extraction has been completed (Figure
5.1.2.1-7).

Lower bead extraction

Procedure:
Use the demounting tool control lever to bring it in
the maximum extension position.
manually lift the tyre, hook it to the tool, keeping on
the opposite side, the bead in the rim channel.
Note:
For this positioning you can use the bead
breaker (Figure 5.1.2.1-8).
Use the demounting tool control lever to lift the bead
out of the rim edge
Rotate the turntable until the tyre is completely
removed.
5.2 Using the Bead Pusher during
demounting
To aid demounting of wheels with particularly rigid or
low profile tires it is possible to use either the Bead
Pusher or the Bead Breaker Disc.
By way of example there follows a description of
utilization of the above-cited devices for such tasks.
Demounting the first bead

The Bead Pusher device allows the bead to be held in
the rim drop center on the side diametrically opposed
to the demount tool.
Bring the bead pusher device 1 onto the tire in a
position opposite to that of the demount tool.
Exert a pressure such as to bring the bead to the
height of the rim drop center.
Lift the first bead on the demount claw.
Remove the Bead Pusher from the tire.
Activate clockwise rotation and proceed with
demounting.
