2.0 Operator's Safety

The Continuity and Line Tester TESTFIX has been desi-
gned and tested in compliance with Safety Regulations
for electronic test instruments and are supplied in safe
and perfect condition.
To maintain this condition, the operator must respect
the safety references contained in this instruction ma-
nual.
The instruction manual contains information and
references required for safe instrument operation.
Read this instruction manual thoroughly and respect
all points before using the instrument.
Failure to understand this instruction manual and to
comply with the warnings and references can result in
serious or hazarous injuries or instrument damage.
The device must be without voltage. In case of
doubt the voltage must be checked with a double
pole voltage tester.
Both TESTFIX and TESTFIX electronic are not ap-
propriate for use in live circuits!
Prior to any measurement, ensure that test leads
and test instruments are in perfect condition.
Only touch test leads and test probes at handles
provided.
The accident prevention regulations of the professio-
nal associations for electrical systems and equipment
have to be respected.
Only use the test instruments within the specified
measurement ranges. Prior to instrument ope-
ning, disconnect from all measurement circuits.
Avoid instrument heating-up by direct sunlight to en-
sure perfect functioning and long instrument life.
