5. Connect test leads in switch position
The lamp must be clearly visible.
Only use continuity tester, if all display elements
function perfectly.
6. Now you may continue testing.
Please think of our environment when you dispose of
your used batteries. They belong in a rubbish dump
or a refuse collection place for hazardous waste.
Remove the batteries when not using the instru-
ment over a longer time period.
However, should the instrument be contaminated by
leaking batteries, return the instrument for cleaning
and inspection to the factory.
6.2 Replace lamp
If the instrument operation is impaired, carry out lamp
replacement.
Proced as follows:
1. Disconnect the instrument from measurement cir-
cuit.
2. Open the casing by pulling the cover of the lamp co-
ver towards the top.
3. Put out the reflector and replace lamp by screw it
out.
4. Insert new lamp, type 3.5 V/0.2 A E10 and close the
casing again.
