Only touch test leads and test probes at handles
provided.
The required test voltage, approx 4.5 V, is supplied by
the instrument batteries. Testing is possible within the
range of 0...100 Ω.
Contact the system parts to be tested with the test
probes.
Switch position (
The test beep is audible when contacting and electri-
cally conducting connection at a resistance of
0...100Ω.

The lamp is illuminated when contacting an electrical-
ly conducting resistance of 0...100Ω.

5.0 Torch Function

TESTFIX is equipped with a torch funciton (steady
burning light) when the switch is positioned to

6.0 Maintenance

When using the instrument in compliance with the in-
struction manual, no special maintenance is required.
If the instrument is dirty after daily usage, we advise to
clean it by using a humid cloth and mild household de-
tergents.
Never use acid detergents or dissolvants.
6.1 Battery Replacement
If the instrument operation is impaired, carry out the
battery replacement.
Proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the instrument from measurement cir-
cuit.
2. Open the casing by pulling the rear casing cover to-
wards the bottom.
3. Insert new batteries, type 1,5 V IEC LR6 by respec-
ting the polarity and close the casing again.
4. Connect test leads in switch position
The beep must be clearly audible.
