Acoustic Signal at Ignition

An acoustic signal (105 dB) sounds as soon as the Thermit
is ignited. The acoustic signal tells the operator to remove the device from the
crucible and get to a safe distance as fast as possible (at least 6 m away from the
crucible).
The acoustic signal indicates that the Thermit
definitely ignited even if a reaction isn't immediately apparent!
