4.1 Electrical connection to mains

The system is provided with one single electrical connection
with 5 m cable at the rear of the power source.
Power source input cable and fuse sizing table:
Power source G. 282 GSM G. 352 GSM G. 503 GSM
Rated voltage
Voltage range 340V ÷460V (400V +15% -15%)
Delayed fuses 20A
Power supply cable 4x6mm2
WARNING
* The electrical system must be made by skilled technicians
with the specific professional and technical qualifications
and in compliance with the regulations in force in the
country where the equipment is installed.
* The welding power source supply cable is provided with a
yellow/green wire that must ALWAYS be earthed. This yel-
low/green wire must NEVER be used with other voltage
conductors.
* Verity the existence of the earthing in the used plant and
the good condition of the socket/s
* lnstall only plugs that are homologated according to
the safety regulations.

4.2 Connecting the equipment components

Disconnect the generator plug from the mains
socket before making the connections.
Keep to the safety regulations contalned in sec-
tion "1.0 WARNING".
Connect the componente carefully, in order to avoid
power losses.

5.0 ASSEMBLING THE EQUIPMENT

5.0.1 Assembling the movable trolley

For the assembly of the generator trolley GT23, see SPARE
PARTS TABLES.
5.0.2 Installing the WU21 and the generator (Fig. 9)
* Rest the WU21 on the GT23 and fix it with the 4 screws.
* Remove the left side panel of the power source.
* Remove the plastic plug on the bottom near the rear cover.
* Rest the power source on the unit, passing the unit wiring
through the hole.
* Fasten the power source to the WU21 with the 4 screws.

5.1 CONNECTING THE UNIT

5.1.1 Connection for MMA welding

Carefully read 4.2.
* Connect the earth
clamp to the negative
socket (-) of the gene-
rator.
* Connect the electrode
holder to the positive
socket (+) of the gene-
rator.
The connection described above ensures welding with
reverse polarity. To weld with straight polarity, reverse
the connection.
