• Used adapters (e.g. tube adapter) on the lower interface must be pushed into the tube receiver of the knee joint
until they stop.
• The screw (1) of the tube receiver (2) must be tightened with a torque of 16 Nm and Loctite. Use a torque
wrench (5 mm Allen key).
• The construction guidelines and setting instructions must be followed.
• Besides the screws described, no other screws may be loosened.
• Using talcum can cause the joint to freeze up, especially in combination with lubricants. Please do not use any
talcum!
• Do not use compressed air for cleaning. We recommend using a brush.
All the above points must be followed or the warranty will be forfeited.
MAINTENANCE
The joint must be serviced no less than every 6 months.
Service must include inspections of:

• General condition
• Screwed connections
• Adequacy of care (e.g., weight limit, mobility)
• Lubricant leakage
• Damages to joint and supplementary parts
• Accumulated deposits in sockets
• Functionality of the nylon pull
• AP and/or ML play in the joint
• Talcum deposits
• Stretch limit stop (4)
CARE
• Clean the joint with a soft cloth which has been soaked with a mild cleaning solvent.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agent because this can damage the sockets.
• Do not use compressed air for cleaning!
