General Information:

Before starting work, please read these installation instructions.
The electrical set must only be installed by qualified personnel.
The electrical set must only be installed when the battery is disconnected.
In the case of older trailers without rear fog lights, when this electrical system is used a rear fog
light must be retrofitted.
The power socket in this cable set has a tripping contact for the vehicle rear fog lights as
standard.
An additional cut-off relay is therefore not required.
Vehicles with on-board computer:
When the battery is disconnected, stored data may be lost.
Please consult your dealer before disconnecting the battery.
Please refer to the legal specifications of the respective country regarding use of the C2
trailer indicator lamp.

Installation of the Socket and the Wire Lane
1. Remove the coverings at the rear of the vehicle and at the rear lights as far as required.
2. Drill a hole (Ø 18,5 mm) at a suitable position on the rear of the vehicle for the wire lane
to the socket.
Smooth off the edges of the hole and apply antifreeze.
Then pull the supplied rubber bushing over the wire lane, leading the wire lane through the
hole from the inside to the outside and seal the hole with the rubber bushing. Ensure that
everything is sitting properly.
Lay wiring harness with colours red, yellow... from inside rear apron to left taillamp and
secure appropriately.
Lay other part of wiring harness to right taillamp and secure appropriately.
