Fitting instructions
1)
Disassemble the bumper. Disassemble the plastic protection cap at the bottom by the coupé execution
2)
Remove the lowermost bolts from the buffer beam (M8).
3)
Place mouting piece (1) with points (A) on the provided bolts on the underside of the left chassis beam, insert the nuts and
washers but do not tighten yet. Point (B) comes against the nut of the buffer beam fixation, insert the bolt through the back
side en place the nut, assemble mounting tube (2) between the coach-work and mounting piece (1), insert the bolt but do not
tighten yet.
4)
Place the tow bar with points (A) on the provided bolts on the underside of the right chassis beam, insert the nuts and washers
but do not tighten yet. Points (D) and (E) match points (D) and (E) of mounting piece (1), insert the bolts but do not tighten.
Points (F) come against the nuts of the buffer beam fixation, insert the bolts through the back side and place the nuts, screw
everything
firmly on (see tension).
5)
Make an incision in the underside of the bumper by the 5-doors execution as on drawing 1 enclosed. Make an incision in the
plastic protection cap at the bottom of the vehicle by the coupé exécution as on drawing 2 enclosed.
6)
Assemble the ball T45 or the pedestal of the escamotable system T36 together with the socket holder, insert the bolts and
tighten firmly (see tension).
(Note : Fix the socket holder on the bolt of the ball wich is most backwards)
Disassemblage of the bumper
5-doors execution
- 1 plastic plug in the wheel case (on the seam of the bumper and the coach-work)
- 1 small screw at the bottom in the middle
- 4 plastic plugs at the bottom
- pool the sides outwards
Coupé execution
- disassemble the rear-light units (1 plastic nut in the trunk and pool unit backwards)
- plastic protection plate at the bottom (3 small nuts + 1 small screw + 2 plastic plugs)
- disassemble the bumper (is the same as the disassemblage of the 5-doors execution)

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
Whenn drilling, be carefull not to damae any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
