from the entry panel (one non-programmable ring
announces a call with the doorbell).
- Call can be rerouted to another receiver.
If the user called does not answer, the call can be rerouted to
another receiver by programming with PCS/300.
- Audible signal to indicate system busy.
- Attenuation of calls and management of simultaneous
calls to audio entry extensions (reference jumper SW1).
Entry panel selection in installations with a number
of entry panels
To use this function, turn on the monitor by pressing the
button entry panel activation
.
Next, press the same button again to select the entry
panels.
VIDEO ENTRY PANEL HEV/301
Single-button video entry panel for managing the whole
installation. Teamed with button plates HEP/306-HEP/
312D, installations with up to 64 users can be set up.
For connections to user extensions the entry panel
uses BPT X2 TECHNOLOGY bus connection, enabling
all signals involved in installation to be sent along a
telephone-type single twisted pair line.
An additional three video-entry or audio-only entry panels
can be added to the first in series without the need for
other equipment (selectors, distributors).
The entry panel comes ready to house the KHSO luminous
system busy warning kit and 1 KHPS (or 1 KHPD) call kit.
The entry panel comes complete with:
- CCD camera with ±11° manual angle adjustment both
horizontally and vertically (fig. 2), with fixed-focus lens
(see fig. 3 for dimensions of the target area);
- phonic unit;
- infrared LED for lighting the target area;
- three potentiometers for the following functions (fig. 2
and 4):
volume control at entry panel;
volume control at receiver;
P1 timed (in the range 1 to 15 s) solenoid door-lock
release.
The entry panel comes with system busy and door-lock
release buzzer.
The wires supplied make it simple to connect the entry
panel's various component units.
POWER SUPPLIER VA/301
Power supply unit capable of supplying power to receivers
directly from the X1 bus with a single twisted pair.
It also has a separate output for supplying an entry panel
and accessories that might be added.
KHPS SINGLE BUTTON KIT
The entry panel is set up to house the KHPS call kit
required to bring the number of calls to up to two users.
Expansion of the number of calls requires the HPP/6
button plates.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY
VIDEO ENTRY CONTROL YVL301
WARNING. It is recommended to install the monitor
in a dry place.
Open the video entry control as shown in figures 5 and 6.
Remove the connector (fig. 7) and install the video entry
control as shown in figures 8, 9 and 10.
For even more secure fastening, remove the receiver
support with a screwdriver through the slot (fig. 11) and
fasten the video entry control as shown in figure 12.
Connect (fig. 7) an re-install the video entry control as
shown in figure 13.
WARNING. In installations with XA/300LR we recommend
you gather up the receiver's ID (SN) codes, applied on the
outside of the housing, and enter them in the tables that
come with the XA/300LR and IPC/300LR.
VIDEO ENTRY PANEL HEV/301
Recessed installation
The embedding box must be fitted flush with the
wall and at an height that ensure optimal camera
operation.
Fit the spacer into embedding boxes to avoid
deformation (fig. 14).
It is possible to use the screwdriver obtained from the
spacer to adjust the microphone and speaker volume
(fig. 2).
WARNING. Connecting cables must be fed through
one of the knockout cable entry points, located at the
bottom of the embedding box (A in fig. 14).
Using the Allenkey s 2.5 supplied, unscrew the lock
screw and remove the front plate from the chassis
(fig. 15).
In order to fit additional buttons, follow the instructions
supplied with each.
Remove the two plugs protecting the threaded holes
in the embedding box and secure the chassis using the
two screws supplied (fig. 16).
Perform the wiring. The name card can be removed
and filled in with the relevant information by removing
the card clip followed by the actual card itself (fig. 17).
NOTE. Personalized name cards can be used up to a
maximum of 2 mm thick.
In order to fit the front plate, first insert the upper part in
the top moulding and then, using a Allenkey s 2.5, tighten
the lock screw (fig. 18).
Installation outside of wall
For installation outside of the wall, the entry panel
HEV/301 must be used in conjunction with the metal
wall-mounted box HBP/M or HBP/T (model with cover),
which is not included with the kit (fig. 19-20).
POWER SUPPLIER VA/301
The power supplier can be installed without
terminal covers into boxes provided with DIN rail
(EN 50022).
Dimensions are shown in figure 21A.
It can also be surface mounted, using the DIN rail supplied
and applying the provided terminal covers and screw
anchors. Dimensions are shown in figure 21B.
KHPS SINGLE BUTTON KIT
Push the front plate from the front to release the hole
plug (fig. 22) and subsequently remove it (fig. 23). Insert
the button as illustrated in fig. 24 and 25.
Apply the spring to the button (fig. 26).
The name card can be removed and filled in with the
relevant information by removing the card clip followed
by the actual card itself (fig. 27).
NOTE: Personalized name cards can be used up to a
maximum of 2 mm thick.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTION
WARNING
Do not open or tamper with the units; there is high
voltage inside.
