INSTALLAZIONE
Per l'alimentazione elettrica tutta la serie PSR è fornita di due prese NEUTRIK
"powercon" a 3 poli con connettori a bloccaggio. Utilizzare la presa di colore
grigio per collegare più diffusori insieme, quella blu per fornire l'alimentazione al
sistema. Per un collegamento "a catena" collegare il cavo dalla presa di colore
grigio del primo diffusore alla presa blu del secondo, e così via, facendo
attenzione a non superare la corrente massima dichiarata
sulla presa "AC LOOPOUTPUT".

massimo della performance se installato a
ridosso del terreno; posizionamenti su
palco o sospesi sono possibili ma non
consigliabili perchè diminuiscono il
rendimento del diffusore.
È importante ricordare che l'allineamento
SUB-SATELLITE
nello stesso piano
verticale (rispetto al punto di ascolto) è
importante perchè evita rotazioni di fase
indesiderate delle onde acustiche nella
zona di incrocio, che possono causare
una risposta in frequenza non uniforme.
Se l'allineamento non è realizzabile per
esigenze di installazione, è necessario
ritardare il diffusore più vicino al punto di
ascolto tramite gli 8 dip-switch denominati
"METERS DELAY" posti sul retro del box:
impostare un delay (in metri) pari alla
differenza di distanza tra ogni diffusore ed
il punto di ascolto. È possibile inoltre
adattare la curva di equalizzazione del
diffusore alla specifica installazione
tramite i tre dip-switch "PROGRAM
SELECTOR".

INSTALLATION
Several
PSR
loudspeakers can be
combined to create an array to increase
the coverage area andmaximum SPL.
Figure "A" shows several basic rules for
positioning the loudspeakers to minimise
interference between the horns of
adjacent enclosures and to obtain a
uniform response over the entire
dispersion angle of the array.
Model
PSR118SA
gives the best
performance when installed on the floor;
installation on a stage or in suspended
systems is possible but not recommended
because these types of solution will result
in reduced efficiency of the loudspeaker.
It is important to align the subwoofer and
satellites in the same vertical plane (with
respect to the listening position): this
precaution will eliminate undesirable
phase rotations of the soundwaves at the
intersection points, which can result in
non-uniform frequency response.
If the specific application situation means
that it is not possible to install the
loudspeakers on the same plane, set a
delay line by means of the 8 METERS
DELAY dip-switches on the rear of the
enclosure: set a delay interval (in metres)
equivalent to the distance between each
speaker and the listening position. The
equalisation curve of each loudspeaker
can be adapted to match the requirements
of the specific installation by means of

INSTALLATION
The entire PSR series is equipped with two NEUTRIK "powercon" 3-pole power
sockets with connector lock facility. Use the grey socket to link several speakers
together and the blue socket to supply power to the system. For a daisy-chain
connection, connect the grey socket cable of the first speaker to the blue socket
of the second speaker and so forth, taking care to not exceed the maximum
voltage stated on the "AC LOOP OUTPUT" socket.

nécessaire de retarder le diffuseur le plus
proche du point d'écoute à l'aide des 8 dip-
switches appelés "METERS DELAY" et
situés au dos du boîtier : régler un "delay"
(retard) en mètres égal à la différence de
distance entre chaque diffuseur et le point
d'écoute. Il est également possible
d'adapter la courbe d'égalisation du
diffuseur à l'installation spécifique à l'aide
des trois dip-switches "PROGRAM
SELECTOR".

möglich, die Entzerrungskurve des
Lautsprecher über die drei Dip-Schalter
"PROGRAM SELECTOR" der jeweiligen
Installation anzupassen.
