3. LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT

The gear motor is supplied with pre-fixed end runs, in order to allow about two turns in
both rotation directions.
-
Turning the end run adjusting screw in anticlockwise (unscrewing), there is an increase of
the roll run (increase of the turns number).
-
Turning the end run adjusting screw in clockwise (screwing), there is a decrease of the roll
run (decrease of turns number).
Note: 8 turns of the screw correspond approximately to one roller turn.
3.1 Use with roller shutters (Fig.3)
-
Adjust the upper screw to set the top position
-
Adjust the lower screw to set the bottom position.
motor installed on the left
1. After installing the motorised roller, rotate in the shutter down direction until the limit switch
stops the motor.
2. Turning the lower screw anti-clockwise, turn the roller until it is at the best position for fasten-
ing the shutter.
3. Fasten the shutter to the roller.
4. Using the switch, lift the shutter; after it stops at the upper limit switch, turn the adjusting upper
screw until the shutter is at the desired position.
Positioning errors: if the roller travels beyond the required position, use the switch to lower
the shutter a short distance, and turn the upper screw clockwise. Raise the shutter again until it
stops at the limit switch; then proceed as to item 4 above.
Attention:
do not install stopper or stop carriers on the end blade of the rolling shut-
ter.
